What To Expect on a Sunday

Sunday Service
At our 10:00AM service, you can expect to find a warm, relaxed atmosphere, contemporary worship led by our worship band, Biblical teaching and people who are seeking after God’s heart. Worship through music helps focus our minds on Him and prepare our hearts for the message. Our worship team utilizes guitars, drums and piano to lead our congregation in worship using a mixture of modern songs and classic hymns. Our Lead Pastor Rob Sharpe speaks at most worship services. Faithfully preaching and teaching the Word is at the very heart of our ministry philosophy.
Come as You Are
There is no particular dress code. At Highway, it’s not unusual to see someone wearing shorts and flip-flops sitting next to another person wearing a jacket and tie. Wear whatever is most comfortable for you. We know that God cares more about the inside of a person than what they wear on the outside, so we have no expectations for attire.
What about kids?
At Highway, your kids are important to us! We go to great lengths to keep them safe and bring them up with a deep foundation rooted in the Love of Jesus. We have an excellent nursery/toddler area that you may use during the service. Preschoolers and elementary-age children (ages 5-11) begin worship with their parents and then go down the hall for DIG (Delight In God) Sunday School. After the service, parents pick their kids up in their classrooms.
